SOTU thing--for all 3 of mine.

Jinx/Kid/Kaito

... lol.

HE IS ACTUALLY PRETTY STABLE RIGHT NOW. Or, er. Was. Until the Mirror/Flowers game. And actually, he still is? In a weird way, this game has kind of reminded him of earlier times when he was still pretty messed up by Mirror's influence (not to say he isn't now but...) and back when Jinx was a more naive blank who did things for other teams because he couldn't be the person to shove them under the bus. Jinx misses being like that after this game, and he is actually pretty upset that Poppy had to get hurt because his team had insisted upon Canis.

The fact that two teams that Jinx would rather have protected ended up dying/getting maimed is a bit of a blow. He does count himself fortunate that Montgomery wasn't there because neither he nor the other two could really cope with that in that sort of game. Also fortunate: Monoceros and Pyxis survived. Fffffff.

Still, half of Canis was killed, the other half was maimed, and Chaz ended up getting killed and there's a lot on 8(((( in that. Jinx will actually head over to Canis to check up on them--especially on Poppy. After this, Jinx may actually lower his bracer a crack, just enough so Poppy can speak to him. This would be a Huge Deal as Jinx never, ever lowers his bracer even for a moment and he had once told Poppy that he was sorry but he wouldn't ever will. But. Well. After all that. Basically Jinx will be giving puppy lots of love and feeling like crap in general. He'll also feel horrible for Jace because Canis got the shaft again just like in the Game Master's game.

Beyond this, lol. Team.

So basically, Jinx has been fairly comfortable with his team for some time now. Mostly because he's been pretty asocial and not really going out very often, sticking close to home, and dealing with the fact that he can't stand fish for whatever reason--stupid phobia. Trixie has actually won back some points that she lost thanks to the heart run because she found a solution to fixing Jinx's dietry troubles. Well... more that she wins points for caring enough to look into what she could do for that kind of thing since Jinx sure as hell wasn't bothering with it. lololol t-those are entirely separate issues...

But yes. Lucky and he have been getting along, Chika and he haven't really had a dumb fight in a while, he's pretty much always zen with Zel (except dear god what happened to your face), and Black he mostly doesn't bother with since Black and he never get along anyway.

So when it came to this game, everyone was going "let's maim Canis" and Jinx was the only one who really went, "what? no." and haha. He... might have made a few comments that made people just kind of stop and stare at him. He was angry at Black for pushing the issue and for making it all seem like Canis was this monster that one-sidedly harassed and shoved Hydra under buses, when jinx know full well that Hydra always gave as good as they got if not more-so. And he also knows that Vulpecula's had a hand in that as well.

And of course, there was Black calling him a traitor for not wanting to put Jace on the chopping block. That really hit a nerve in Jinx and to be perfectly honest, that really had Jinx losing a lot of whatever little respect he had for Black. Jinx still has major issues about being excluded from the team--white sheep of a flock of black?--and that statement really hit the raw nerve which actually evoked the stronger reaction from Jinx. He didn't really even pay much mind to the others during that argument. When it came down to rock, paper, scissors, though. Jinx almost objected against it because he didn't even want to chance putting Jace on the block, but he ended up winning and... Black flipped out.

At this point, Jinx is pretty much Not Okay and he's seeing that Black is just as Not Okay as he is--maybe even more so. And it's funny. For... some reason. So Jinx jeered and mocked while Trixie and the others held Black back. So Vulpecula. Fighting, everyone agreeing, playing poker in death game, survival instinct renewal, fighting. lol

But yeah, so that's put Jinx back in an awkward place with his team. He's angry about what Black said to him, angry that the others might just think the same thing just because he's willing to stand up for someone who had been a large help to him when he was broken. Jinx really would have preferred not to have chosen Canis at all, but he knew he was out-numbered in that regard, so he agreed to settle with Masamune.

... except that's not who they got.

Hence, Jinx feeling very remorseful and probably wanting to hang around the people he's close to off-team for a while after this game.

... and then of course, Jinx will recall that they have a Mirror punishment coming up and lolol Mirror's faaaaaaaavorite team. And Flowers doesn't have any say about it because it was Mirror's game they lost.

As for Kaito and Kid? They took the backseat in this game except for the poker game. Mostly it was Kid acting as the filter for Kaito so he didn't get hit as hard with the Bad Decisions that were going on, but Kaito's aware--very much aware. And they're both aware of Jinx's state and how angry he is with Black and how dispirited he is. Which is kind of a Bad End for certain people if Jinx is put in another game like this any time soon. Or that's how Kid's starting to see it at least. Kaito's actually seeing it as a marked improvement from the detachment Jinx's been exhibiting since his believed 52-Day stay with Mirror.

Which one's right? Idefk.

Dean

Is. ... yeah.

So basically, LOTS OF CRAP has been happening to Lyvus recently. Dean becoming vamp after getting killed in Haunted's game, getting killed in Horn's game along with 8 other members of Lyvus, getting to know Royal's Crazy, finding out THREE teams dropped his teams--two of them for pretty personal, purposeful reasons, Dagger's heart run, fighting with Royal, Surgeon's game, admitting to Brass that he's going to remember going to Hell one day and he might go bugfuck insane, and then this game.

LOTS OF CRAP.

Mostly, Dean's been weathering through it, focusing on keeping forward motion with everything because if he stops to think about something, he might not want to leave it all well enough alone.

The problem he has with this game mostly isn't so much the decision they made, really. It's more of the fact that he allowed Night's decision on who to pick knowing it would hurt Hydra, who he's been working pretty damn hard at building better relations for in his own way. Dean's been walking on egg-shells when dealing with Hydra and he's fond of a few of them in his own way, but he knows he's pretty much fucked things over with them now--only it wasn't really him because Night made the call, the team agreed with the decision. Mostly, Dean's feeling a lot of the pressure is because he knows he'll be the one catching most of the heat for the decision. Because as I said, he might not have made the call, it might have been a team decision to agree with the call made, but he's the team leader and he didn't stop it. And this is how Dean pretty much figures Hydra will see it.

That's not to say he isn't aware that his teammates will also catch grief for it. It's just that he's like the lightning rod--most of the attention was on him post-game because he had been the one to carry Simba out and he was the one with Simba's blood on him because he had been the one to carry out the task. Dean's glad to have taken that task out of Night's hands, at least, and he's relieved that Night went with it because of the differences in their strength. He really hopes that Simba will be fine after the initial shock and pain, even though he knows Hydra defintiely won't be.

Beyond this, Dean's just. Stunned. That Corvus won but Lynx didn't. And while not a genius, Dean is pretty damn smart (despite not acting it) and he figures that to win, you had to win in votes and carry out the maiming. Since both Corvus and Lynx carried out the maiming... that means Lynx lost the voting. ... and Dean doesn't understand how that could possibly work out.

Seriously, Corvus literally figured that Lynx had the better chance of surviving when it just came to the votes. They all would have rather that happen, even, but yeah. Dean, at least, doesn't figure a lot of people know them, let alone like them. Since the Horn game, he really doesn't try to hope that any of the other teams will watch their backs and he really doesn't figure that Corvus will even cross other teams' minds. So this is kind of a mind-boggling moment of, "... but why?!"

He might eventually come to find out that it was mostly pity-votes that got them those votes and well... he probably won't care so much, but he will still be a bit confused on why they would even think to vote for them anyway. Ffffff THESE PEOPLE.

Beyond that, his teammates are getting slammed with pretty heavy memories while he gets off easy--yet again. This is relieving, as I mentioned in the memory write-up, but also kind of distressing because Jesus freakin' Christ are these Judges just waiting until his guard is down before slamming him with something like--oh, I dunno--a memory of Hell? Dean's scared about when that'll happen, because he knows it's gonna happen. The thing about it is that, as mentioned earlier, he's not thinking about it because if he thinks about it, he will probably go crazy. Or something.

So over all, Dean's in a stressful place right now, but he's muddling his way through things. He's willing to act as a lightning rod for all the negative impressions people may have as a result of this last game, but it will wear on him. But he'd still prefer if he was the one to catch the heat because. Well. It's the least he could do. Since he makes a crappy leader. :/

Pecha

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

Naturally, being Ophi means that he's fairing a LOT better than my other two characters. Pecha has been having fun in Sabra ever since he went around knocking on doors and meeting blanks. He was ECSTATIC when that fight with Cygnus happened--not because he enjoys violences. On the contrary, he's not that interested in those kinds of things. What was wonderful to watch was his teammate's reactions to the violence, the Cygnus's reaction to his punishments, and then the other Cygnus's reaction to witnessing the punishments. SO MUCH REACTIONS AND ALL OF THEM UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT IN THEIR OWN SPECIAL WAY. &heaerts;

And then, of course, there was the whole thing with Black where, lololol. He got some really nice reactions from that one. Black will be he favorite on Vulpecula to troll for a while--especially since he's gotten some insight on Black's overall character. He's also looking forward to dealing with Vulpecula more--in fact, he has to make a return visit to check up on Lucky and that mission. Lol. Post-Mirror/Flowers game, that mission will be hilarious. He might be generous enough to change the target team, though, if Lucky shoves it back in his face or something.

Lacerta continues to be his favorite team over all, if only because it's so much fun to watch them continue to try to be these type of self-sacrificing peope while also keeping their team together and whole. Which backfired beautifully in the Mirror/Flowers game, so... yeah. He's gonna have fun with that. Another thing Pecha is having fun with? Watanuki's lying. Or, rather, his failure at it. Lolololol. Hours and hours of entertainment each week |D

Running the mini-game was great fun for Izaya as well until it got to the last few people. Then it got a little boring because they wouldn't react. But then again, that just makes him want to throw a fit and break their favorite toy or something to make them cry. See? That would get a reaction, wouldn't it? :'D And it's likely something he will do because he does, in fact, remember who was there at the game. Lolol. So, I'd OOCly apologize to the winners of the mini-game but no. That's partly why he was helping run it in the first place. :'D

Finally, there's the memory he received.

Pecha has evolved! PECHA IS NOW KNOWN AS IZAYA!

... I bet you all feel safe now.

So yes! Pecha remembers his name is Izaya! He remembers Harm from home and he remembers some blond crazy man-monster who wanted to kill him with an apartment entrance door! WONDROUS THINGS. And what is Pecha going to do with this knowledge?

... nothing.

:'D

He will still be calling himself Pecha, he will still harass colored blanks, he will still be all about WANTING TO KNOW anything and everything about Sabra La Tau. Absolutely nothing about that will change.

The one difference people may notice is that he maaaaaaaay just be a bit more prodding and poking and harassing toward Harm than he used to be. Lololol :'D Uraeusssss, I knew him fiiiiirst. :'D That. Would pretty much be the only reason he'd even acknowledge Harm--because he knew him first and wants to irritate Uraeus as much as possible in his free time. It's what he does.

So, over all, PECHA LOEV ALL THE BLANKS--except Weed--AND LOLOL. TROLLING. SO FUN.

Oh, he also has the power of MINI, thanks to The Kid. Fear him, blanks. :'D

Oh, and you know he'll be so very intersted in what happened in this last game. SO very. Interested.

... lolol, my balance, you guys.
